What are the requirements
Ownership or Control
You must be the majority owner of the Canadian business, holding at least 51% of the entire business.
Significant Benefit to Canada
You must show the business brings meaningful economic, social, or cultural benefits to Canada, such as creation of jobs or industry innovation.
Viable Business Plan
The proposed business must be genuine, feasible, and capable of being implemented, with evidence of available funds, market research, ownership, business preparations, relevant experience, and a realistic strategy for operating in Canada.
Temporary Intent
You must demonstrate that you understand the temporary nature of this work permit and will leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay if you do not obtain another lawful status.
